I place great importance in reading physical books.
For the Z-Generation, and for the people who spend most of their time on social media, I recommend to start reading books at a rate of 10 pages per day.
Depending on the complexity of the subject and the language, this will take about 15 minutes a day, 7.5 hours a month and less than 4 full days in a year. During this time, you will be reading 300 pages a month or about 12 books in a year.
Once this threshold is reached and has become a habit, the number of pages read will easily exceed 25 per day (30 minutes) thus about 30 books per year. This will definitely help you start a wonderful journey for the next phase of your life.
For the summer of 2024 here are the 4 books I highly recommend for entrepreneurs:
1. Peter Thiel, “Zero to One” - Innovative thinking for start-ups.
2. Robert T. Kiyosaki, “Rich Dad Poor Dad” - Importance of financial literacy
3. Guy Kawasaki, “The Art of the Start” - Tips for starting a new enterprise.
4. Chris Guillebeau: “The $100 Startup” - Starting and growing a micro-business with minimal capital.
